The snow has arrived! We discussed how the weather has changed and where the snow came from and where it will go.

We are getting ready to start a new Power of Reading book but before we even look at the book, we have visited where the story is set - the woods.

We have had a fabulous first week back. We have started our new topic 'Monsters' by making monster biscuits, learning a monster dance and using our imaginations to suggest where the monster footprints came from and where the monster is now!!

Our new Maths Shed has arrived outside. We have loved finding the resources and inventing our own maths games.

In Reception, we been very busy in the Creating Room this week, especially with the junk modelling where we have made butterflies and flowers from tissue paper and monsters and machines from different bits of recycling.
