A little about Valley Governors...
Governors at Valley Primary School have a wide background of experience gained in both public and private sectors, bringing together a range of skills which compliment each other within the governing body. Together with the Headteacher and Senior Team, they set the strategic direction for the school with the aim of ensuring that all Valley children are given the very best possible start to their education.
Information on the structure, roles and responsibilities and terms of reference for the governing body are in the documents below.
The Governors’ aim to achieve high standards combining our ultimate objectives of providing excellent learning opportunities alongside personal development opportunities which result in well rounded, well educated young people. As a school, we work hard to ensure that every child leaves Valley at the end of primary school, well prepared for the next step in their education, understanding key values and behaviours and having gained the key skills necessary to make them good members of the community and be well on their way to becoming good future citizens.
